Details for this newest Sunny Isles, Miami Beach luxury oceanfront condominium project are yet to be officially anounced, however early “leaked” information of the new collaboration between Gil Dezer of Dezer Development and Jorge Perez of the Related Group has already created an excitement for this newest of concepts for a new and unique oceanfront Miami Beach luxury condominium development. The 2 developers had previously collaborated to develop the oceanfront Trump Towers located just south of this location, in Sunny Isles Beach.
The newest Sunny Isles Beach condominium project Armani Residences, will be designed by the worldrenowned architect Cesar Pelli, known locally as the architect that designed the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami. Cesar Pelli and his Connecticut firm, Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects notable designs include the Petronas Towers in Kuala, Lumpur, Malaysia, which were the tallest buildings in the world when they were built, the World Financial Center, which is across from the World Trade Center in Manhattan, along with the currently under construction Bill and Melinda Gates Computer Science Complex at the University of Texas at Austin among dozens of other notable properties.
César Pelli, An Argentine American architect, known for designing some of the world’s tallest buildings and other major urban landmarks. In 1991, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) listed Pelli among the ten most influential living American architects. His many awards include the 1995 AIA Gold Medal which recognizes a body of work of lasting influence on the theory and practice of architecture. Perhaps his most famous work are the Petronas Twin Towers, which were for a time the world’s tallest buildings. He also designed the World Financial Center complex in downtown Manhattan, next to the sincefallen World Trade Center.
Early details recently leaked on the Armani Residences condominium project include:
- Residence floor plans will be offered in 2, 3, 4bedroom and possibly larger plans
- Property projected to offer approximately 250 luxury oceanfront residences
- Property projected to feature 57 floors
- All floor plans designed as easttowest “flowthru” floor plans
- Minimum 10 foot ceilings with floor to ceiling glass
- Oceanfront & bay view oversized balconies
- 3 floors of private cabanas
- Full restaurant
- World Class Spa
- Oceanfront pool among lavishly landscaped grounds and sundeck
The remaining details posted above for the Armani Residences in Sunny Isles Beach are still VERY preliminary and we expect that some of these details will change as the developers finalize and officially publish their project plans. The Armani designed residences have been a great success in one of the worlds most wellknown ultraluxe towers Burj Khalifa in Dubai, UAE. The Burj Khalifa (which is the world’s tallest building), has 160 Armani designed hotel rooms and 144 larger luxury condominium residences, which were all reported to be designed by Giorgio Armani himself. Armani has long been known as one of the biggest names in fashion. Armani has recently expanded into restaurants, hotels and interior design with his Armani/Casa brand.
THE DEVELOPERS of the Armani Residences in Sunny Isles Beach
Armani House is the latest Armani Residences Project, developed by Gil Dezer and the Related Group and this time the project involves Cesar Pelli, one of the most world famous architects of the 21st Century. Cesar Pelli and his associates from Pelli Clarke Pelli are known for designing some of the world’s tallest buildings, such as the World Financial Center in New York City, The Petronas Twin Towers in Malaysia, Cira Centre in Philadelphia, and Adrienne Arsht Center, which was built for the Performing Arts of Miami.
Armani House by Cesar Pelli features 57 stories and approximately 250 units. There will be two, three and four bedroom units available. The size of the units will vary between 1,500 sq. ft. and 3,200 sq. ft., with the anticipated price range from $800 per sq. ft. to $1,400 per sq. ft.
